Winning Jobs Narrative
The Winning Jobs Narrative Project is a narrative architecture on jobs and the economy that Somos Votantes successfully used during the midterm elections. The project aims to provide a framework for communicating effectively with voters on issues related to jobs and the economy. It is designed to adapt to different contexts and languages, including English and Spanish.
Staff the Frontlines
Across the country, there is a massive public service worker shortage. Nationally, we are still hundreds of thousands of jobs short from where we were at the beginning of the pandemic. This leaves us woefully unprepared for the next crises we will face. In response, AFSCME has launched a new initiative called Staff the Front Lines to recruit and retain skilled, dedicated people to public service. This CommsTalk will detail why this issue is so important and how you can begin to message around it.
Messaging to Win
We know that the winning coalition is diverse across race, generation, and ideology — so how do we create effective messages we can repeat that unite across our differences while our opposition constantly works to divide us from one another? In this presentation, Way to Win will share some of the top learnings from our iterative process of research, content creation, and evaluation over the past two election cycles, including the 2022 midterms, when we collectively defied all historical trends and political odds.
