Launched in 2023, this event is the only one of its kind focused solely on communications tactics and strategies within the progressive movement. Commference creates much-needed space for hundreds of communicators and digital doers from progressive partners across the country to collaborate, learn from and inspire one another, and forge a path ahead. The event covers a broad range of topics that include traditional communications, new innovations, and lessons learned.
ProgressNow is the communications hub of the progressive community. Our network of 28 state-based communications operations coordinates in-state partners to engage and activate people through local strategies and voices. We are leading the sector with sophisticated and innovative strategies to identify audiences online and match messages, messengers, and modes to reach them with creative and compelling communications. We find the message that engages people and we are the distribution. With permanent, staffed state affiliates in these 28 states, we coordinate the movement’s communications in order to increase civic engagement, win elections, and secure policy victories to improve people’s lives.
